Built on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

ACU was founded on the principle that lasting psychological change begins with radical acceptance of present experience. Our curriculum is deeply rooted in third-wave behavioral therapies — ACT, DBT, and CFT — alongside rigorous training in evidence-based assessment and diagnosis.

Our graduates practice in hospitals, private clinics, community mental health centers, and university counseling programs across Somalia.
